摘要: Smartphones and tablets are an indispensable part of modern communication people spend considerable time interacting with their devices every day. While substantial research has been conducted concerning smartphone usage, little is known about how used. This paper studies mobile device usage characteristics like session length, interaction frequency, daily in locked unlocked state respect to location context. Based on logs from 1,585 Android (470 years total time), we derive analyze 23 million sessions. We found that remain for 60% the interactions at home occurs twice as frequent work. With average 58 per day, smartphones used often tablets, while tablet sessions 2.5 times longer, resulting almost equal aggregated usage. conclude differ considerably between smartphones.
