Pattern formation and direct measurement of the spatial resolution in a photorefractive liquid crystal light valve

摘要: In a photorefractive liquid crystal light valve, acting as Kerr-like nonlinear optical medium, we show the appearance of patterns induced by single mirror feedback. The spatial wavelength scales with distance between and valve contrast decreases for decreasing this distance. We use these properties to setup new scheme measurement resolution device.
