摘要: Domichnial and domichnial-fodinichnial burrows of ground beetles (Coleoptera: Carabidae) belonging to the genera Bembidion Harpalus, respectively, pupichnial Melolontha Melolonthinae: Scarabaeidae) occur in sandy muddy nonvegetated or partly vegetated substrate on a well-drained, rarely flooded alluvial plain Dunajec River (Sandomierz Basin, southern Poland). The show characteristic morphology, with straight curved shaft horizontal oblique terminal chamber. Harpalus are similar wide range morphological variability, including forms which chamber is poorly outlined. Their inclination changes from (most common) surfaces steep scarps. larger, vertical shafts strongly elongated chambers. occupy areas more distal areas, stephensii intermediate environments respect river channel, while B. quadrimaculatum present proximal, flood scarps channel. Comparison trace fossil Macanopsis indicates that scarab should be included as possible tracemakers (as well spiders, wasps, millipedes presented literature) continental settings. These traces environmental conditions typical Coprinisphaera ichnofacies, mainly soils above groundwater table.
