摘要: Different drivers and places of land use change in South America have often been studied isolation. Evidence suggests, however, that many instances, both are becoming increasingly interconnected. The growing diversification internationalization agricultural commodity chains is creating new linkages across production frontiers sectors important implications for conservation. In this article, we explore the sectoral geographical coupling soybean cattle forest conservation America, with particular attention to potential policy-induced deforestation leakage.
