Loss comparison of inductors used for buck-chopper circuit

摘要: The authors have reported that the iron loss of inductor varies according to pre-magnetization, and characteristic depends heavily on magnetizing characteristics. In this paper, characteristics for pre-magnetization typical magnetic materials, such as a ferrite core, an powder sendust core are shown. Based characteristics, calculation buck-chopper using materials different with provided, minimum condition is discussed.
