摘要: Abstract Micronutrient deficiency is a universal problem, which presently affects over two billion people worldwide, resulting in poor health, low worker productivity, high rates of mortality and morbidity. Deficiency micronutrients has led to increased chronic diseases permanent impairment cognitive abilities infants born micronutrient deficient mothers. Wild vegetables have been the mainstay human diets for centuries, providing millions consumers with important micronutrients, such as vitamins minerals needed maintain health promote immunity against infections. Compared conventional cultivated species, wild are hardy, require less care, rich source micronutrients. Hence, they could make an contribution combating malnutrition well food security. Unfortunately, currently underutilized, neglected by researchers policy makers. Their promotion integration into assist their protracted use consequent conservation. However, chemical, nutritional toxicological properties especially local vegetables, bioavailability present these, modification various processing techniques still need be properly established documented before alternative dietary can advocated.
