摘要: Mongolian pine plantations (MPPs) composed of Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica (P. sylvestris) are used for desertification control and restoration degraded land in arid semi-arid regions. We studied soil changes associated with P. by comparing top (0-20 cm) sub-top (20-40 cm) properties across 8 stand density gradients MPPs ranging from 900 ± 5-2700 ± 50 trees ha-1. The study was conducted the uncovered Sandy Land southern Mu Us Desert, China. relationships between volume fractal dimensions (D) particle size distribution physicochemical were evaluated. D determined using a laser diffraction technique measured. In layer, significantly positively affected except bulk total nitrogen. These effects not observed layer. values ranged 1.52 ± 0.29-2.08 ± 0.06 correlated density. Significant correlations (except nitrogen) Given these results, we concluded that is sensitive useful index because it quantifies additionally implies area.
