Here we review HAI/HAR/HAB literature to detect main publication trends, identify predominant research themes this area. Research only really started 1980s, but since then there has been growth studies still continuing. Most these have contexts companion animal or agricultural research, now growing on laboratory, zoo wild animals too. In HAI/HAB greatest emphasis Animal-assisted Interventions (AAI), benefits people pet ownership interaction with pets.
