摘要: The chlorophyll in photosynthetic organisms can be divided on a functional basis into two distinct categories. One category is represented by the light-harvesting or antennae chlorophylls which account for vast majority of membrane. other only few (1%) specialized chlorophylls. former group functions absorbing and efficiently transferring energy light to latter These reside what termed reaction center, where they function as electron donor primary photochemical event process. groups are amalgamated with acceptor well electron-transfer components entity called photo-system. In plant photosynthesis such photosystems, photosystems II I, act series bring about transfer electrons from water NADP+. This flow accompanied formation ATP.
