摘要: Carbon-nanotube/graphene-nanoribbon junctions were recently fabricated by the controllable etching of single-walled carbon-nanotubes [Wei et al., Nat. Commun. 4, 1374 (2013)] and their electronic transport properties studied here. First principles results reveal that transmission function show a heavy dependence on shape contacts, but rectifying is an inherent property which insensitive to details contacts. Interestingly, ratio largely enhanced in junction with realistic contact enhancement structures. The stability suggests significant feasibility manufacture all-carbon rectifiers nanoelectronics.
