摘要: It is postulated in this paper that at low doses all chemicals have hormetic/hormoligotic (beneficial) effects living organisms. has been known since Paracelsus high are toxic. The combination of and dose can be empirically described by a β-curve or an inverted β-curve. A mathematical method suggested to determine the maximum minimum β-curve, yielding point estimate for risk assessment.
