Risk factors for include size protein, type number free light chain ratio. Smoldering (asymptomatic) myeloma (SMM) characterized by presence an g/dL higher and/or monoclonal marrow no evidence overall malignant condition year first 5 years, 3% next 2% following 10 years. Patients with both SMM must be followed up their lifetime.
