摘要: Abstract In this work, a novel adsorbent, sulfonic acid-functionalized carbon nanotubes (CNT-FA-SA) composite was synthesized by Diels-Alder (DA) chemistry and electrophilic substitution reaction. The adsorption of methylene blue (MB) onto CNT-FA-SA systematically investigated. Based on the experimental data, MB rapidly removed with maximum capacity 236.55 mg/g under certain conditions. non-linear relevant fitting result Langmuir isotherm model fully estimates that monolayer can reach to 1584.22 mg/g. kinetic is fitted better pseudo-second-order than pseudo-first-order model, isotherms were well described Freundlich model. data testified process monitored chemisorption physical simultaneously.
