摘要: Abstract Silica-based photocatalysts for several selective reactions around room temperature have been developed in recent years. In most cases, the photoactive sites are highly dispersed (isolated) metal oxide species of quantum size at atomic level located on silica surface. Some them exhibit photoluminescence spectra with fine structure due to vibration energy levels sites, which clarifies that photoexcitation state is localized a bond species. addition, even pure materials, kind surface defect can function as site. Heteroatom and defects seem `quantum photocatalysts' reactions.
