摘要: Abstract The genus Limonium is very differentiated in Sardinia. Thirty‐eight prevalently endemic (76%) species are known at present. Most of them (21 species) triploid with a basic number x = 9; some widely distributed and, because their scarce morphological affinities, presumably ancient; others have more or less restricted distribution area, weakly and probably recent origin. There also diploid group 2n 18, which occurs coastal areas, represented generally by obliged allogamous (14) an incompatible pollen/stigma heteromorphic system sometimes associated heterostyly. diploids developed belt vicariant species, territorially the triploids. Part triploids origin clearly derived from process allotriploidy, i.e. hybridisation between living next to each other. In Corsica Sardinia, due scarcity tetraploids, chara...
