摘要: AIM: The purpose of this study was to investigate the incidence dentoalveolar growth disturbances, loss teeth and esthetic impairment after end following traumatic injuries incisors periodontal tissues during childhood. MATERIALS AND METHODS: 41 patients having sustained trauma before age 10 who were now at least aged 16 years, a total 68 traumatized documented by clinical examination, dental casts photographs. We determined three-dimensional position on casts, as well teeth's pulp sensibility, percussive sound sensitivity, shape color. RESULTS: 82% in upper dentition. 45% experienced subluxation, nearly 30% luxation, 16% avulsion. At time follow-up examination (mean 17.0 years post-trauma), 57% still situ. Immediately 7.4% lost; up post-trauma 35.6% lost because failed root canal filling, resorption or ankylosis. observed no functional deviations. Dentoalveolar disturbances rare. Three markedly discolored. CONCLUSION: Following childhood, negative effects growth, function esthetics can be minimized timely interdisciplinary treatment controls until achieve an outcome satisfying both patient clinician.
