Angiography in Kidney Cancer

摘要: From occupying a central role in the evaluation of kidney cancer, renal arteriography has been relegated to problem-solving secondary modern era. This is partly due changing presentation tumors; most are now identified at an early stage, and insensitive when compared with cross-sectional modalities for small masses. Arteriography seldom used diagnosis. For staging it may help occasional case indeterminate findings regarding venous involvement on CT MR imaging. It have some utility pre-operative surgical planning, but mostly planning therapeutic or palliative tumor embolization.
