摘要: Abstract The crystal structure of poly(ethylene oxide)-sodium iodide (PEO-NaI) complex, a highly ionic conductor, was determined by the X-ray diffraction method. crystals belong to monoclinic system space group P 2 1 . cell constants are = 18.15 A , b 8.41 c ( chain axis ) 7.98 and y 122.3° (first setting). molar ratio (EO:NaI) is 3:1, there 12 monomer units (two chains) four NaI ion pairs in unit cell. characterized as follows: (1) polymer chain, which asymmetric consists three units, takes helix conformation (TTGTTGTTḠ)2 (T, trans; G G, plus minus gauche, respectively). (2) Na+ I− ions linked alternately form zigzag chain. (3) coiled round helical such way that couple makes same repeat period helix. (4) Each coordinated oxygen atoms two ions.
