A review of assistive technology and writing skills for students with physical and educational disabilities

摘要: In recent years effective instruction in reading for learners with physical and educational disabilities has received great attention the schools. However, corollary skill of writing considerably less emphasis. This review paper notes that through use assistive technology, students a variety can learn to effectively (a) plan organize their writing, (b) draft transcribe work, (c) edit revise narrative expository writing. With teachers increasingly being held accountable development literacy skills all students, including those disabilities, schools are paying substantial growing reading. The expressive side coin, skills, is arguably equally significant worthy instructional there indicators not enough national reform debate (National Commission on Writing, 2003, 2006; National Writing Project & Nagin, 2006).
