摘要: Abstract Three Mn(III) complexes [Mn(L 1 ) 2 ] (ClO 4 , 3 and one Mn(II) complex were studied for their efficiency as catalysts epoxidation of olefins with H O at room temperature 0 °C in the presence ammonium acetate-acetic acid or triethylamine-perchloric system co-catalyst/buffer. The obtained from reaction Mn(ClO .6H 0 NNO tridentate Schiff base ligands HL -HL synthesized condensation 2-(2-aminoethyl)pyridine 2-hydroxybenzaldehyde (HL ), 5-chloro-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde 5-methoxy-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde 5-nitro-2-hydroxybenzaldehyde respectively. characterized by spectroscopic techniques well single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Electronic effect substituents on epoxide yield was also investigated. structures confirm coordination manganese ion to through atoms ligands. spectral changes observed a function time aqueous (30%) hydrogen peroxide indicates possible formation an intermediate product; hydroperoxo-complex implicated reaction. catalyzed cyclohexene low but higher order lower than 1, 2, recording highest 9% turnover 2.25 58% 14.5 system/ buffer. With system/buffer, 46% 11.5 recorded while 44% 11.0 .
