摘要: The present work reports on pristine anatase TiO2 photocatalyst with different indium (In) content which is prepared via a controlled and energy efficient microwave-assisted method. structural optical properties of were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission-scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), transmission (TEM), diffuse reflectance (DRS), fourier transform infrared (FT-IR). Average crystallite size 12 nm shape pseudo-cube was obtained for In-doped (optimum 0.10 mol%). UV–Vis spectrum shows the absorption edge shifted in visible region slightly decreased band gap In–TiO2 as compared to TiO2. research mainly focused enhancement degradation efficiency methyl orange (MO) doping Indium using UV light (365 nm). A 98% photodegradation achieved utilizing 0.10 mol% (1 g/dm3) at pH = 5 within 90 min. Recyclability also studied material found be stable up five runs.
