摘要: The establishment and growth of Rosmarinus officinalis L. under field conditions in two low-nutrient-content soils were evaluated, as well the effect arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi on essential oil production. reclamation was conducted experimental sites: a limestone quarry wasteland soil, both surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation. Mycorrhizal R. plants inoculated with different AM fungal isolates used to revegetate sites. Pre-transplant inoculation resulted an increased survival similar results areas. enhanced plant growth, yield improved conditions. indicate that presence symbiosis can accelerate alter biosynthesis secondary metabolites, thus improving medicinal extracts. It also confirmed importance selecting plant/symbiont combinations adapted environmental constraints design successful application technology marginal soils. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
