摘要: A TEAUMATIC stimulus to the uterus of pregnant rat from 4th 7th day pregnancy produces a local endometrial reaction known as deciduoma (Allen, 1931). Stimulation after does not elicit this response (Allen 1931; Selye and McKeown, 1935). McKeown (1935) have claimed that loss sensitivity is due “specific” placental inhibition because “cesarean section” they were able obtain deciduomata. Atkinson Leathern (1945) suggested that, more specifically, maternal placenta (the decidual tissue associated with placenta) source “inhibitory” factor responsible for sensitivity. Since we recently demonstrated presence prevent formation deciduomata (Peckham Greene, 1947, in press) subject was reinvestigated. METHODS AND RESULTS Sensitivity rafs endometrium traumatic stimulus.
