摘要: Ion channels are integral proteins expressed in almost all living cells and involved muscle contraction nutrient transport. They play a critical role the normal functioning of excitable tissues nervous system regulate action potential events. Dysfunction genes encodes ion channel proteins, which disrupt function lead to number diseases, among is type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM). Therefore, understanding complex mechanism receptors necessary facilitate diagnosis management treatment. In this review, we summarize important their regulation insulin secretion along with limitations as therapeutic targets. Furthermore, discuss recent investigations regulating pancreatic beta cells, suggest that active participants secretion.
