摘要: Abstract This work reports the fabrication and physical properties of biodegradable poly( l -lactide) (PLLA) composites containing a fraction unmodified layered double hydroxides (LDH–NO3) γ-polyglutamate-modified (γ-LDH) by melt blending process. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) transmission electron microscopy (TEM) experimental results showed that original LDH–NO3 with certain amount aggregates was unevenly dispersed throughout PLLA matrix. Conversely, γ-LDH allows formation an intercalated nanocomposite. Although water vapor permeability PLLA/LDH systems decreased increasing loading LDH, barrier property reinforced is superior to PLLA-L composites. effects both LDHs on mechanical thermal were also investigated.
