摘要: The diamine putrescine and the polyamines spermidine spermine are amino acid-derived, aliphatic nitrogenous compounds of wide distribution among plant cells (Fig.1). earliest reference to in scientific literature is van Leeuwenhoek’s classic letter Royal Society London 1678. During his studies describing spermatozoa, he observed gradual formation colorless crystals upon drying samples. correct structure these crystals, which corresponded spermine, was not determined until over 250 years later.1 Spermidine later found mammalian tissues. related diamines cadaverine were decomposing animal vegetable matter as a result microbial activity.
