摘要: The pulsed writing of volume holograms in lithium niobate is reported, both with 200-nsec and 20-nsec duration pulses. This information particular interest high capacity storage applications since it indicates that times at least as short are readily possible. A series pulses was used each case, the diffraction efficiency monitored using a He-Ne laser operating 6328 aligned to its corresponding Bragg angle.
