摘要: Electrografting based on the reduction of diazonium salts has been conventionally performed at laboratory scale with cyclic voltammetry using a typical three-electrode electrochemical system. However, this promising coating technique still needs simplification for industrial feasibility. In work, we report that pulse potential deposition, an only two-electrode system, is powerful tool grafting through chemistry. Importantly, method allows covalent attachment 135 nm thick polyvinylpyridine-like polymeric film titanium nitride wafer dimensions (200 mm diameter) acidic solution 4-nitrobenzenediazonium and vinylpyridine monomer. Success in suitable polymer films well-controlled thickness real engineering materials, such as nitride, opens door many novel applications micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS).
