Mean nest occupancy was 3 years; 40% known occupied 4 years or more. inter-nest distance vaned according to soil type (10,96 km—basalt, 14,72 km—ecotone, 29,15 km—kalahari sand). Clutch size one eggs laid May, June July. 0,65 chicks/pair reared 46 known-result pair-years on average 35% all failed breed any year.
