摘要: Abstract The combustion process in diesel engines is essentially controlled by the dynamics of fuel spray. Thus accurate modeling spray vital to accurately model engines. In this work, a new hybrid was developed coupling cavitation induced sub KHRT model. This implemented into KIVA4 CFD code. extensively validated against experimental data non-vaporizing and vaporizing obtained from constant volume chamber (CVCC) available literature. results were compared on basis liquid length, penetration images. also engine characteristics like in-cylinder pressure heat release rate. very well captures both characteristics.
