摘要: Although the symptoms of magnesium deficiency are well documented in plants, primary physiological effects low Mg availability remain largely unknown. This paper describes responses starvation Arabidopsis thaliana. Growth characteristics, and sugar concentration, photochemical performance were measured at regular intervals during induction deficiency. These data show that increased concentration altered sucrose export from young source leaves before any noticeable effect on photosynthetic activity was seen. The decline might be elicited by leaf concentrations. Transcript levels Cab2 (encoding a chlorophyll a/b protein) lower Mg-deficient plants obvious decrease concentration. transcriptional suggest reduction is response to levels, rather than lack atoms for chelating chlorophyll.
