摘要: Abstract There has been considerable work on scaffold design based triply periodic minimal surfaces (TPMS). Current methods used to adjust the parameters in one type of TPMS model are insufficiently flexible for designing architectures comprising multiple porous structures. In this paper, we propose two CAD that combine different TPMS-based structures with given transition boundaries. One method is a sigmoid function (SF) can be effectively applied simple boundary cases. The second Gaussian radial basis (GRBF) more general These provide placing substructures 3D subspaces perfect transitions their adjacent within domain. We present various examples functionally graded desired internal and external geometries demonstrate effectiveness these methods. resulting models exported as STL-files fabricated using an additive manufacturing process.
