摘要: Onsite surveys and 75 measurements of discharge were made on 21 high-gradient streams (slopes greater than 0.002) for the purpose computing Manning roughness coefficient, n, to provide data hydraulics these streams. These show that: (1) n varies inversely with depth, (2) directly slope, (3) thought be in super-critical flow range actually subcritical range. A simple objective method was employed develop an equation predicting by using multiple-regression techniques slope hydraulic radius. The average standard error estimate this prediction 28% when tested Colorado data. verified other available Regime-flow equations velocity also developed.
