摘要: Sixteen patients with jaw biphosphonate-osteonecrosis and exposed bone areas were subdivided into 2 treatment groups. The first group (7 patients) underwent superficial or radical surgical therapy, while the second (9 antibiotic treatment. A slight reduction of necrotic was observed in 5 7 group, whereas no change remaining at 22- 24-month follow-up. 9 5- statistical analysis showed that regimen did not significantly influence dimensional bone. preliminary results seem to suggest biphosphonate-associated osteonecrosis can be well controlled by a nonsurgical protocol consisting long-term administration antibiotics.
