摘要: In recent years the application of information and communication technologies (ICTs) to built heritage has been increasingly finalized promotion in order maximize visitor flows. New urgent challenges facing loom now over its very existence our possibilities preserve it for future generations. Italian cities represent a delicate context, where concerns related tourist flows resource consumption are amplified due concentration sites points interests urban areas, also small ones, while tourism remains vital economic growth. such contexts, balancing development sustainable conservation demands well-calibrated tools approaches. The article presents an overview ways Internet Things (IoT) is currently used solve issues support projects. On this basis, considering characters problems typical cities, as well features scenario, most appropriate lines IoT identified. Then, their potentialities, mutual impacts between them field key role supporting balance cultural finally discussed.
