摘要: Studying the biological functions of aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) other than its function in xenobiotic drug metabolism may answer questions as to why AhR orthologues have long been conserved phylogenically widely animal kingdom, and homologues diverged from nonvertebrate species such nematodes drosophila all vertebrate species. In this review, we focused on mechanism longevity possibly derived evolution AhRs compared functional difference hematopoietic progenitors between wild-type (AhR(+/+)) mice AhR-deficiencies (AhR(+/-), AhR(-/-)). Particular advantages found with were follows: first, higher antioxidative microenvironment low oxidative tension seemed developed AhR; second, primitive progenitor-cell-specific deceleration dormancy cell-cycle regulation also evolution, which keeps progenitor cell compartment dormant without extinction by continuous differentiation; third, consequent genomic stabilization a longer lifespan AhR. Experimentally, showed significant extension gene-dosage-dependent manner delayed onset leukemogenicity. Another possible additional advantage observed mice, is not yet clarified, an improved efficiency fertilization AhR-deficiencies, seems Four altogether, including anti-aging feature mentioned above induced molecule diverge various kingdom.
