摘要: The transmissibility of 12 seated subjects to sinusoidal vertical vibration was measured at frequencies in the range 7 75 Hz. Transmissibility, ratio seat head on a bite-bar, determined each six levels (0.2 4.0 m/s2 r.m.s.) two body postures. postures were defined by positions that maximised and minimised sensation subjects' heads. Measurements fore-and-aft (ax), lateral (ay), pitch motions three subgroups. Posture found have very large effect with an approximate 6:1 difference mean between 35 50 In both decreased as frequency increased from Hz there statistically significant reductions increasing vibration. Some results individuals are presented illustrate differences subjects. reactions outlined some implications discussed.
