摘要: Throughout the world, decreased connectivity of fluvial habitats caused by artificial river channel alterations such as culverts, weirs and dykes is seen an important threat to long-term survival many aquatic species. In addition assessing habitat quality abundance, wildlife managers are becoming increasingly aware importance taking into account when setting priorities for restoration. this paper, a new approach spatial analysis adapted rivers streams proposed modelling 2D functional connectivity, integrating distance, costs risk travelling between patches (e.g. daily use, spawning, refuge) particular fish species, size classes life stages. This was applied case study in which brown trout (Salmo trutta) accessibility examined compared under various scenarios stream restoration highly fragmented Ile-de-France. Probabilities reaching spawning were estimated from trout-populated area located downstream barriers potential daily-use across segment. The successfully helped prioritize actions identifying options that yield greatest increase accessible areas patches. This illustrates practical use software context management.
