摘要: We studied formaldehyde emissions from the medium-density fiberboard (MDF) in a full-scale experimental room to approximate actual buildings. Detailed indoor concentrations and temperature humidity data were obtained for about 29 months. Temperature, relative (RH), absolute (AH) ranged over -10.9-31.4 °C, 46.5-83.6%, 1.1-23.1 g/kgair, respectively. Annual cyclical seasonal variations observed emission rates, exhibiting entirely different characteristics than those an environmental chamber under constant conditions. The maximum concentration occurred summer rather at initial introduction of material. could be few up 20 times higher that winter, depending on Concentrations decreased by 20-65% corresponding months second year. Indoor positively correlated with AH but poorly RH. combined effects MDF buildings verified. These detailed long-term results used measurement scale validate models chambers held conditions
