摘要: Recent efforts of bone repair focus on development porous scaffolds for cell adhesion and proliferation. Collagen-nanohydroxyapatite (HA) (70:30; 50:50; 30:70 mass percentage) were produced by cryogelation technique using 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethyl aminopropyl) carbodiimide hydrochloride/N-hydroxysuccinimide as crosslinking agents. A pure collagen scaffold was used control. Morphology analysis revealed that all cryogels had highly structure with interconnective porosity the nanoHA aggregates randomly dispersed throughout structure. Chemical showed presence major peaks related to HA in biocomposites indicated possible interaction between molecules. Porosity an enhancement surface area percentage increased The improved mechanical properties content scaffold. As expected, swelling capacity decreased increase content. In vitro studies osteoblasts cells they able attach spread surfaces. collagen-nanoHA resulted higher overall cellular proliferation compared statistically significant difference observed after 21 day culture. These innovative could have potentially appealing application regeneration. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Biomed Mater Res Part A, 2013.
