摘要: Plants are the beautiful results of a chain complex pattern forming events. Pattern formation—the generation regular differences in space—occurs at several levels organization. For example, particular group cells shoot apex may receive signal to form leaf. The leaf will get polarity, developing an upper and lower side. Some develop into stomata, while chains other vascular strands. Individual become polar. All these patterns must ultimately arise from similar mechanisms although they do not act same structural level. In this chapter we would like discuss basic signalling systems among that allow generate different cell types defined spatial arrangement apply them plant development. We further show linkage such allows reproducible patterns. Models for primary shoot-root axis primordia around meristem be elaborated. These models certainly complete. instance, shape changes tissue (see Gierer, 1977a) or tissue-specific control proliferation discussed.
