Capsular typing of Staphylococcus aureus isolates from cattle and goat mastitis by PCR targeting cap5K and cap8K genes

摘要: The capsular typing of Staphylococcus aureus bovine and caprine origin was carried out by polymerase chain reaction using primers specific for cap5K cap8K genes. From cattle mastitis 60% S. were found to possess gene responsible production CP5 capsule 20% the isolates possessed biosynthesis CP8 capsule. rest did not produce amplicon with these considered non-CP5 non-CP8 isolates. goats, 30% showed presence exhibited cap 8K whereas 50% non-typable or No polymorphism observed in genes restriction fragment length (RFLP) reaction-single-strand conformation (PCR-SSCP) analysis suggesting that K cap5 cap8 cluster highly conserved.
