Influence of a psychological perspective on scene viewing and memory for scenes

摘要: In the study, 33 participants viewed photographs from either a potential homebuyer's or burglar's perspective, in preparation for memory test, while their eye movements were recorded. A free recall and picture recognition task performed after viewing. The results showed that perspective had rapid effects, second fixation scene onset was more likely to land on perspective-relevant than perspective-irrelevant areas within scene.
