The incidence of parathyroid and other antibodies in the sera of patients with idiopathic hypoparathyroidism.

摘要: Parathyroid antibodies were demonstrated in 38% of seventy-four patients with idiopathic hypoparathyroidism, 26% ninety-two Addison's disease, 12% forty-nine Hashimoto's thyroiditis, and 6% 245 control patients. A significant percentage hypoparathyroidism also had adrenal, thyroid and/or gastric parietal cell antibodies, even the absence diagnosed or pernicious anaemia. The antibody(s) against parathyroid tissue are not hormone, do cross-react absorption studies gastric, thyroid, liver kidney tissue.
