摘要: We present results from R-matrix with pseudo-states (RMPS) and convergent close-coupling (CCC) calculations for electron-impact excitation direct ionization of the ground state ion. Comparison CCC RMPS those first-order distorted-wave as well simpler calculations, only physical discrete target states in expansion, indicate importance accounting continuum effects - even this doubly ionized target. These conclusions are important evaluating reliability atomic data currently used collision system various applications.
