摘要: Fair comparison of outcomes between NICUs requires adjustment for initial risk. Birth weight, gestational age, and other risk factors do not adequately account baseline Two measures illness severity have been recently validated: these are the Clinical Risk Index Babies (CRIB) Score Neonatal Acute Physiology (SNAP). The authors review how two scores applied in managed care settings a wide array research applications, as well technical, commercial, ethical issues involved their use.
