摘要: P2X receptors are ATP-gated cations channels formed by the homo or hetero-trimeric association from seven cloned subunits (P2X1-7). widely distributed in different organs and cell types throughout body including nervous system involved a large variety of physiological but also pathological processes adult mammals. However, their expression function during embryogenesis remain poorly understood. Here, we report cloning comparative map establishment entire subunit family clawed frog Xenopus. Orthologous sequences for 6 mammalian were identified both X. laevis tropicalis, not P2X3 subunit, suggesting potential loss this Pipidae family. Three these genes (p2rx1, p2rx2, p2rx5) exist as homeologs pseudoallotetraploid laevis, making total 9 species. Phylogenetic analyses demonstrate high level conservation between amphibian other vertebrate RT-PCR revealed that all expressed development although zygotic p2rx6 p2rx7 transcripts mainly detected at late organogenesis stages. Whole mount situ hybridization shows each displays specific spatio-temporal profile can therefore be grouped into two groups, based on developing system. Overlapping central peripheral sensory suggests heteromerization and/or redundant functions Xenopus embryos. The developmental p2rx early phases indicates may have distinct roles development, especially embryonic neurogenesis.
