摘要: ABSTRACT A new procedure for predicting the ultimate bearing capacity of an embankment foundation is discussed, and its applicability to construction safety control reviewed in connection with observational construction. The developed this paper consists following three processes : ( 1 ) An elastic consolidation back-analysis performed by using values monitored field. 2 Elastic-plastic soil parameters, a constitutive model proposed Sekiguchi Ohta, are estimated interpreting parameters obtained from process (1). (3) Ultimate height computed coupled elastic-plastic deformation-water flow finite element analysis imaginary viscosity method. applied actual embankments, around which displacements monitored, verified be able predict subsequent settlement, as well factor periodically changes progresses. easy- to-understand diagram foundations summarized form chart, so that engineers may apply it engineering practice.
