摘要: Abstract Spinel cobalt ferrites (CoFe2O4) with varying levels of substoichiometry were prepared via sol-gel synthesis different combinations citric acid, dextrose and PVP (polyvinylpyrrolidone). The gels, from the metal nitrates, dried at 110 °C, further treated 850 °C finally subjected to thorough structural magnetic characterization in order correlate composition gel properties displayed by ferrites. materials synthesized present work have shown be rather iron-depleted, reaching over 50% deficiency metal, which leaves spinel lattice forms Fe2O3 instead. fuel/oxidant ratio thermal behavior xerogels exert a direct influence on compositional variation spinels, could turn correlated particles. A maximum coercivity 2154.4 Oe was achieved without application any additive nitrate precursors. On other hand, remanence shows linear relationship iron content their chemical formula. results open up possibility fine-tuning product careful control reaction medium.
