Dynamics of primate bipedal walking as viewed from the force of foot

摘要: Bipedal walking of the six species anthropoid primates including man were examined by means force plate technique. Though each has a particular pattern bipedal walking, we can classify two types patterns in these as far foot is concerned. The first type includes man, chimpanzee, and spider monkey second contains Japanese monkey, hamadryas baboon, gibbon. It was emphasized that similarity to chimpanzee some evolutionary significance.
